A) Setting Up Appropriate Equipment

When filming, we used a DSLR camera and a green screen. The green screen is a very heavy and fragile piece of equipment that needed to be set up carefully so as not to damage it. These pieces of equipment had to be set up very carefully. With the camera, we took it out of the case, took the lens off of it and put it back into the case so as not to risk damaging the lens. We then turned it on, and flipped the screen out and we were ready to film with it. When putting it away, we out the lens back on carefully not scratching the lens. Then we carefully placed the camera back in the bag.
also made sure to have it on a smooth/stable surface so as to avoid any risk of it falling over. Filming had to take place when there was no wind so that the green screen was not affected and the audio would be of a good quality. The camera also had to be properly set up before filming. We positioned it at the appropriate height and made sure the tripod was stable and well balanced so that our footage would not be titled in any way.

B) Following Script / Storyboard

When we began production on the film, we made sure to film every scene from the script. Due to the script being primarily made up of action with their being little dialogue it made it much easier to film the scenes and follow the original script. However, for the storyboard we did have to make some changes when when filming as there were a few shots that were just not practical or necessary.

C) Following Safe Working Practices

For safe working practices, we made sure to check the filming locations and assess them for any possible risks or hazards that could occur. The areas that we had our actors and equipment in were completely safe with the risk of breaking the equipment being very low.

D) Following Production Processes

Once we have completed filming we will share the footage with the rest of the group. Once everyone has a copy of the footage we will all begin editing it individually. Once the rough edit is done we will put in the visual effects that we made in Adobe After Effects, using our green screen footage to insert them into the scene.
